Global Photography Project

“Inside Out Downtown Hollywood” is a unique global photography art project inspired by world-renowned Parisian street artist JR, who uses photos of the human face in massive installations on walls, sidewalks, streets, and historic buildings. Project organizers are looking for Hollywood residents to be a part of a large-scale mural planned for 1740 S. Young Circle. On Saturday, May 9 from noon to 3 p.m., portraits will be shot by a professional photographer at the Art & Culture Center of Hollywood, 1650 Harrison St. Approximately 200 photos from this open session will be selected for inclusion, and those images will be pasted on walls before the June 13 unveiling. For more information on the Broward 100’s Inside Out project, visit broward.org/Broward100/InsideOut/ or email broward100@broward.org.
