About Caribbean
Caribbean Miami Beach represents a modern reinstatement of the glamorous history that once swept the city of Miami Beach. It is a historic oceanfront landmark, originally built in 1941 by architect Lawrence Murray Dixon, a native Floridian and the most prolific Miami Beach architect of his time. The building has been restored to the modern standard of ultra-luxury living. The building’s elegant entrance, black granite facade, and Terrazo floors have been refurbished to their original state as well. A new 19-story tower was built to the same standards in 2008 by Miami architect Kobi Karp. The two buildings offer a total of 103 lavish residences. Many opulent amenities are offered to those who reside at Caribbean Miami Beach. These conveniences include an oceanfront heated infinity-edge swimming pool, sun deck with chaise chairs, an over-sized whirlpool spa, two business centers, state-of-the-art fitness center, multi-level landscaped water feature, and resident billiard lounge.
Caribbean residence interiors have been designed by world-renowned designer Christopher Ciccone. No detail has been overlooked to create the most luxurious and comfortable living experience at the Caribbean. All units are equipped with high-tech wireless touchpad concierge panels. Units are also pre-wired for cable and high-speed internet and come equipped with high-efficiency water heaters and A/C systems. The 9 foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling impact glass windows allow natural light to enter the units. Italian kitchens feature Miele stainless steel appliances, Sub-Zero refrigerators and stone countertops. Bathrooms include marble and stone baths, whirlpool tubs, seamless glass tub, and shower enclosures with body jets and rain shower heads.
