FAA Gives One Brickell and Auberge Residences the OK

Nowadays it seems like every new Miami condo development is trying to outdo the other in terms of height.  The Four Seasons Miami currently stands as the tallest building not only in Miami but also in Florida, though six buildings by the Related Group are looking to potentially dethrone its status.  However, restrictions by the Federal Aviation Administration had any future development plans on hold.

One Brickell will consist of three buildings standing 881, 832, and 639 feet tall.  The Auberge Residences condo will have a pair of towers that are 649 feet tall and a smaller 533 foot one.  Last month the FAA ruled that it needed additional time to look over the projects in order to ensure that the building heights would not interfere with any local flight activity, stating none of the buildings should be taller than 470 feet.

Details on One Brickell’s amenities and features haven’t been fully explored, but it will have landscape architecture by acclaimed Enzo Enea. As for the Auberge Residences, the units will have private elevators and many additional high-end features.  Architecture is being handled by the firm of Arquitectonica.
