Fendi Château Residences hits $70M in sales in January

The Fendi Château Residences in Surfside had $70 million in sales in January alone, developers announced Wednesday.

The upcoming luxury condo project is a collaboration between Fendi and Château Group. Construction of the 12-story tower at 9365 Collins Avenue is expected to finish in the spring of 2016.

About 70 percent of the tower’s 58 units are under contract, according to the press release.

Fendi Château Residences has condos that range from 3,300 to 7,000 square feet, with prices from $6 million to $25 million. Each unit comes with a Fendi Casa kitchen, or a full chef’s kitchen with custom Fendi Casa cabinets and Gaggenau appliances.

The tower will have multiple oceanfront pools with cabanas, a private restaurant and cinema, a lounge, business center and ballroom. Also planned are reflective ponds and a relaxation terrace with aromatherapy.

“Fendi Château Residences is attracting a balance of both domestic and international buyers,” Manuel Grosskopf, chairman and CEO of Château Group, said in a statement. “We are seeing buyers from the Northeast and Midwest, Canada, London, Russia and Latin America that are looking to live in a luxury branded development.” — Sean Stewart-Muniz
