Prior to launching SOBE Luxury Homes, Mr. Kawas was Director of Sales & Marketing at IMG’s Evert Tennis Academy in charge of business development, marketing and sales. As such, Mr. Kawas succeeded in continuing to position the brand as one of the world-class leaders in tennis player development.
Mr. Kawas is bilingual and holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering from Marquette University. Born and raised in Honduras, Mr.Kawas was a part of the Honduran Davis Cup Team and captain of the Marquette University NCAA Tennis Team. He lives with his wife and two children in Miami, Florida.

Not surprisingly for someone who loves what he does, Ivan’s downtime is also spent in the real estate field. On weekends or whenever he has any spare time, Ivan works on renovating his historic 1925 Alton Road house. Bilingual in Spanish and English, Ivan is also a frequent traveler.
